Portrait Photography in Meath, Near Dublin

Portraits for people, businesses and families — made in a relaxed, private studio in County Meath, 30 minutes from Dublin, by a photographer who specialises in people who don’t love being photographed.

Whether it’s a headshot for LinkedIn, portraits of your team, a family session, or a portrait of the two of you, the approach is the same: no stiff posing, no rushing, and time to settle in until you forget the camera is there.

If you hate having your photo taken, you’re in the right place

Most people who walk into my studio say the same thing: “I’m terrible in photos.” They’re not — they’ve just been photographed badly.

Sessions here are unhurried. We chat first, you settle in, and we keep going until there’s a portrait you actually like. It’s why so much of my work comes from people sent by someone who said, “trust me — she’ll sort you out.”

Questions people ask

That’s my speciality. Camera-shy clients are most of my work, and the session is built around helping you relax — not performing for a lens. More about how I work →

Individual studio sessions typically take about 60 minutes. For corporate and team shoots, allow around 15 minutes per person. Either way, nothing is rushed on the day.

Simple, plain colours you feel good in photograph best. If you’re unsure, just ask — sorting this out is part of the chat before your session.

The studio is in County Meath, near Kilcock — about 30 minutes from Dublin. It’s private, fully equipped, and there’s ample free parking right outside the door. Full directions come with your booking.

Individual studio sessions start from €250, including a fully guided, relaxed shoot and a private online gallery. Family and branding packages — with edited digital files included — are also available; just ask when you get in touch.
