The ‘Whole’ Wedding Story – The Lads, The Laughs, and the Pints!
From the first cheeky pint to the last dance, I was there as a double wedding photographer in Meath, capturing Davie and Gavin’s wedding day, which was packed with warmth, humour, and fun. Shared with Edel and Lorraine in a joyful double wedding at the Station House Hotel, the lads brought the style and charm!!.
Their day started with a ‘sneakie’ or two, at their favourite pub, Harnan’s in Rathmolyon, where Davie spent many years pulling pints and telling yarns!! You wouldn’t have guessed it, but the nerves were real, hidden well behind laughs, pint glasses, and sunglasses.
I couldn’t stop smiling with them and at them, behind the camera. Here’s a little look behind the scenes of their side of this unforgettable day.

🧍♂️🍻 Sneakie’s at Harnan’s Pub
The suits were sharp, the ties were perfect, and the mood was pure mischief. From fixing each other’s buttonholes to pints and banter outside Harnan’s, the groomsmen were full of energy and divelment!. Whether it was Gavin helping himself behind the bar or Davie pulling pints like he has done millions of times in the past, there was endless Craic before they headed off to marry the girls of their dreams!!!!

One of my favourite things about photographing this part of the day was how natural it all felt. Nothing staged. Just real moments, a proud dad being fussed over, a young page page boy soaking it all in, and a few pre-wedding nerves softened by Guinness and great company.

Later that day at the Station House Hotel, the magic continued. Under the trees and summer sky, surrounded by friends and family, Davie and Gavin made it official with quiet confidence and big smiles. The day rolled on with heartfelt speeches, hilarious moments, and a dancefloor that didn’t quit until very late into the night.
